Indiana Hoosiers (13-6) vs. Minnesota Golden Gophers (7-11)

Week 12 of the 2022-23 college basketball season continues Wednesday, January 25, with the Indiana Hoosiers taking on the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the Big Ten Conference showdown at Williams Arena in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  

The tip-off is set for 9:00 PM ET, and the Hoosiers open as 9-point road favorites with a total of 136.5 points. Indiana shoots for its sixth consecutive SU and ATS victory over Minnesota, while their last four encounters have gone over the total.

The Indiana Hoosiers (13-6; 9-9-1 ATS; 4-4 conf.) extended their winning streak to three games this past Sunday. After a 63-45 dismantling of the No. 18 Wisconsin Badgers at home and an 80-65 thrashing of the Illinois Fighting Illini on the road, the Hoosiers beat the Michigan State Spartans 82-69 as 4.5-point home favorites. 

Indiana erased a nine-point first-half deficit against Michigan State. The Hoosiers went 9-for-15 from beyond the 3-point line and 21-for-24 from the charity stripe while posting a 13/9 assist-to-turnover ratio. Senior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis went off for 31 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, and five blocks, while sophomore guard Tamar Bates and junior guard Trey Galloway accounted for 17 points apiece.

Jackson-Davis has been unstoppable of late. He had an 18-point, 12-rebound double-double versus Wisconsin and notched 35 points against Illinois on the road. The Hoosiers rank 20th in the nation in points scored per 100 possessions (114.7). They shoot 56.0% from inside the arc (27th in the nation) and 38.1% from downtown (27th) while handing out 16.4 assists per game (22nd). Indiana is No. 19 in the NCAA NET Rankings and No. 21 in the KenPom rankings.
