UNLV at Fresno State Prediction – Basketball Picks 1/21/23

The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels will travel and take on the Fresno State Bulldogs in Mountain West action from the Save Mart Center on the CBSSN. UNLV and Fresno have faced off 20 times, and the Bulldogs lead the all-time series, 11-9.

UNLV dropped to 12-6 after losing to Utah State in Logan. The Runnin’ Rebels trailed the Aggies early, and failed to rally all the way back, losing 75-71.UNLV is scoring 79.7 points per game, while allowing ppg and shooting 45.5% from the field.

UNLV’s hot 11-1 start has quickly evaporated with the start of Mountain West play. The Rebels have put themselves in a 1-5 hole in league action, and they must win now to survive. Former OU guard Elijah Harkless leads the Rebels in scoring (16.4), but after leaving the Utah State game early, his status for this weekend is in question. Ole Miss transfer Luis Rodriguez and sophomore guard Keshon Gilbert are both tied for second on the team in scoring at 12.4 ppg.
