In this Atlantic Coast Conference matchup, the Pittsburgh Panthers host the Florida State Seminoles. The Panthers are 13-6 overall and 6-2 in the ACC while the Seminoles are 6-13 overall and 4-4 in the ACC. Pitt beat Florida State last season 56-51. The Florida State Seminoles got off to a horrible start this season. Yes, their schedule included a lot of tough nonconference opponents, but they also includes teams like Stetson, Siena, and Troy. And FSU lost pretty much all of them. They started out 1-9 with their only win coming over Mercer. But since that horrible start, the Seminoles have played better and they are actually 4-4 in the ACC.

Two of those wins came over Notre Dame, who they beat on Tuesday at Notre Dame by the score of 84-71. The Seminoles were on fire from outside, shooting 51% from the floor. Darin Green led the Seminoles with 20 points with 4 three pointers while Jalen Warley added 17 points. Guard Matthew Cleveland had a great all around game with 14 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 assists. Cleveland leads FSU with 14.4 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. Florida State is ranked No. 154th in the KenPom power rankings.
