Once Upon A Time In Las Vegas – Divisional Round

Oklahoma City Thunder (22-23) vs. Sacramento Kings (25-18)

The NBA betting action continues with a nine-game Friday card including the Western Conference showdown from Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, where the Oklahoma City Thunder square off against the Sacramento Kings with the tip-off at 10:00 PM ET.

OKC and Sacramento lock horns for the first time this season. The visitors miss Aleksej Pokusevski (leg) and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl (ankle), while the Kings listed Domantas Sabonis (illness) and Alex Len (illness) as questionable to play.

The Oklahoma City Thunder (22-23; 29-16 ATS) extended their winning streak to four games this past Wednesday. After three straight victories on the road against Philadelphia 133-114, Chicago 124-110, and Brooklyn 112-102, the Thunder routed the Indiana Pacers 126-106 as 3.5-point home favorites.

OKC dominated Indiana from start to finish, leading by as many as 29 points. The Thunder made 50.5% of their field goals (16-for-38 from deep) while handing out a staggering 41 assists. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Isaiah Joe accounted for 23 points apiece, and Josh Giddey posted a double-double of 16 points and 11 assists.

“I think the team is growing in confidence, and the confidence is kind of a collective confidence,” Thunder coach Mark Daigneault said. “It’s not like an individual player just playing on a ridiculous streak or anything like that. The group is gaining confidence together, and we want to be a team that the whole is better than the sum of the parts.”

Oklahoma City is tied with the LA Clippers for the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference. The Thunder score 113.8 points per 100 possessions (16th in the NBA) on 46.6% shooting from the field (20th) while surrendering 112.7 points in return (10th) on 46.3% shooting from the field (tied-5th). They are dead last in the league in defensive rebound percentage (72.5%), but the Thunder’s D ranks third in the NBA in turnover percentage (14.5%).
