The Colorado Avalanche and Vancouver Canucks face off Friday in an NHL showdown at Rogers Arena. When these two teams faced off on January 5th it was Vancouver that secured the 4-2 victory.

In the last game against the Calgary Flames, the Avalanche scored four goals, and that was enough to secure the three-goal victory. Mikko Rantanen finished with two goals and added another assist. The Avalanche are averaging 3.07 goals while their defense is giving up 2.79 goals per game. The offense hasn’t been as strong this season, but maybe the offense is turning the corner.
