The Hawaii Warriors will travel and take on the UC Irvine Anteaters in Big West play from the Bren Events Center on ESPN+

Hawaii moved to 14-4 after beating Cal-State Northridge at home. The Warriors held the Matadors to 17 first half points, and held on to pick up the seven-point win. Hawaii is scoring 68.2 points per game, while allowing 60.3 ppg, and shooting 44.1% from the field.

Hawaii responded to their loss in seven games with a nice win over Long Beach State, and they look like contenders in the Big West Conference. Hawaii plays a tough, rugged brand of basketball, and they’re led by the inside-outside duo of Noel Coleman and Kamala Hepa. Coleman led the Warriors in scoring last season and after scoring 25 points against LBSU, he’s on pace to do so again this year, averaging a team-lead 14.5 ppg. Hepa posted career-highs of 30 points and 14 boards in the win over St. Francis, and he leads Hawaii in rebounding (7.1), while scoring 10.9 ppg. Bernardo da Silva joins him up front, and he’s tied with Kepa for the team-lead in rebounding at 7.1 rpg, while scoring 10.3 ppg.
