The Winnipeg Jets face the Toronto Maple Leafs with both teams looking to build off of great seasons. The Jets have a 29-15-1 record and with eight wins in their last 10 games are at the top of the Central Division. The Maple Leafs have a 27-11-7 record and are in second place in the Atlantic Division. Both teams look to remain near the top of their divisions and the upcoming game should be a great one as a result.

The Jets are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.29 goals per game. Kyle Connor, Pierre-Luc Dubois, and Mark Scheifele have scored 68 goals and 74 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has also stepped up. Blake Wheeler, Cole Perfetti, and Adam Lowry have combined for 24 goals and 55 assists while defensemen Josh Morrissey and Neal Pionk have added 15 goals and 53 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has stepped up but the defense has carried the Jets, allowing only 2.62 goals per game with only eight goals in the last four games. Josh Morrissey and Dylan DeMelo have combined for 5.9 defensive point shares and 115 blocked shots while Brenden Dillon, Nate Schmidt, and Neal Pionk have combined for 6.9 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit.
