The West Virginia Mountaineers (10-7, 0-5) will host the #14 TCU Horned Frog (14-3, 3-2) Wednesday night on ESPN+. Last season these two teams split their meetings, with the home team taking each matchup.

The TCU Horned Frogs went 21-13 last year and lost to Arizona 85-80 in overtime in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. TCU looks strong again this season, rated No. 27 in the country according to KenPom overall, 69th in adjusted offensive efficiency, and 19th on the defensive end. TCU's strength of schedule is rated 180th.

After going 11-1 in non-conference action with a resume that includes wins over Iowa and Providence, the Horned Frogs are 3-2 in the Big 12. On Saturday, TCU came away with an impressive 82-68 home win over #11 Kansas State.

 

The Horned Frogs are 46th in the country shooting 46% from the floor, and struggle for three-point range making only 28.8% which ranks 350th nationally. Fortunately, the Horned Frogs can defend the three, limiting opponents to 29.6% (29th best), and are 66th with opponents making 40.9% of their overall shoot from the field. Mike Miles Jr leads the Horned Frogs with 19 ppg. The 6'2 senior has started in 65 of his 70 career games, all at TCU. Emmanuel Miller, a 6'7 senior, is second on the team with 14.7 ppg.
