San Diego State Aztecs (13-4) vs. Colorado State Rams (10-9)

The college basketball betting action goes on Wednesday, January 18, with the San Diego State Aztecs taking on the Colorado State Rams in the Mountain West Conference showdown at Moby Arena in Fort Collins, Colorado. 

SDSU and CSU lock horns for the first time this season, and the tip-off is set for 10:30 PM ET. The visitors open as 4.5-point favorites, while the totals are listed at 143.0 points.  

The San Diego State Aztecs (13-4; 4-11-1 ATS; 4-1 conf.) are coming off Saturday’s 76-67 home loss to the New Mexico Lobos. The Aztecs put an end to their six-game winning streak, playing as firm 8-point favorites. They trailed the Lobos for most of the game and by as many as 13 points, going just 6-for-24 from beyond the arc and 11-for-21 from the foul line. 

Senior guard Matt Bradley had 14 points, five assists, and four rebounds last Saturday, but he made just five of his 16 shots from the field. Senior forward Keshad Johnson posted ten points, seven boards, and a couple of steals, and senior guard Adam Seiko added 13 points off the bench. Darrion Trammell, a 5-foot-10 senior point guard, missed seven of his eight field-goal attempts and finished with just four points and a rebound. Trammell is tallying 11.6 points and 3.6 assists a night this season.  

SDSU is No. 31 in the NCAA NET Rankings and No. 30 in the KenPom rankings. The Aztecs score 110.4 points per 100 possessions (67th in the country) and allow 93.7 points in return (25th). Their defense ranks 252nd in 2-point percentage (50.6%), 57th in 3-point percentage (30.5%), and 52nd in steals per game (8.5).
