The #2 Kansas Jayhawks are on the road as they make the in-state trip to face the #11 Kansas State Wildcats Tuesday night. Kansas comes in off a 62-60 home win over #14 Iowa State in their previous game Saturday, though they failed to cover the 7.5-point line in the contest. Kansas State was knocked off 82-68 on the road by #17 TCU in their most recent game Saturday, failing to cover as a 4.5-point underdog. In the all-time series between the teams, the Jayhawks own a 125-57 advantage and have won the last seven meetings. That includes a 102-83 home victory in the most recent matchup on February 22, 2022.

Kansas earned a hard-fought win over #14 Iowa State in their previous game to run their win streak to 10 games. The Jayhawks enter this game 16-1 overall and they stand atop the Big 12 with a perfect 5-0 conference record. Against Iowa State, Kansas was in a tight game throughout as neither team led by more than seven in the contest. The Jayhawks were up seven in the first half only to see the lead trimmed to one at intermission. In a hotly contested second half, the game was tied in the final minute before K.J. Adams hit the game-winning jumper with 10 seconds to play. Kansas shot 45.8% from the field, including six of 21 from three-point range, and overcame missing eight of their 20 free throws in the game. Gradey Dick led the Jayhawks with 21 points and five rebounds in the win.
