Week 11 of the 2022-23 NCAA men’s basketball season goes on Tuesday, January 17, with the Clemson Tigers squaring off against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in the Atlantic Coast Conference showdown at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. 

The Tigers and Demon Deacons lock horns for the second time this season, and Clemson opens as a 3-point road underdog. Back in December, the Tigers trounced Wake Forest 77-57 as 3-point home favorites with a total of 142.5 points.  

The Clemson Tigers (15-3; 10-8 ATS; 7-0 conf.) are rolling on a seven-game winning streak following Saturday’s 72-64 victory over the No. 24 Duke Blue Devils. The Tigers erased a four-point deficit from the break, dropping 42 second-half points on the Blue Devils. They held Duke to 38.1% shooting from the field (3-for-20 from deep) while making 45.8% of their field goals (3-for-17 from deep). 

Junior forward PJ Hall tortured the Blue Devils for a season-high 26 points on 10-for-16 shooting from the field. Senior guard Brevin Galloway notched 17 points and four rebounds, while senior forward Hunter Tyson had seven points and six rebounds. Tyson has led the way for the Tigers this season, tallying 15.7 points and 9.8 rebounds a night. 

The Tigers are No. 19 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll. They are No. 49 in the NCAA NET Rankings and No. 54 in the KenPom rankings. Clemson scores 111.8 points per 100 possessions (43rd in the nation) and surrenders 98.0 points in return (69th). The Tigers rank 38th in 3-point percentage (38.0%) and tenth in free-throw percentage (78.9%), while their defense is 27th in field goal percentage (39.4%).
