The Siena Saints are on the road as they make the trip to take on the Canisius Golden Griffins Sunday afternoon. Siena comes in off a 70-64 road win over Niagara in their previous contest Friday night, covering the line as a two-point favorite. Canisius was dropped 76-58 by Marist in their previous game at home Friday night, losing outright as 3.5-point favorite. In the all-time series between the teams, the Saints own a 56-45 advantage, including a 74-70 home win in the most recent matchup on December 2, 2022.

Siena ran their win streak to seven games as they took care of business against Niagara on the road Friday night. The Saints enter this game 12-5 overall and atop the conference with a perfect 6-0 record. Against Niagara, Siena trailed by nine midway through the first half and by seven at halftime before starting to get things together. The Saints trailed by nine early in the second half and still trailed 60-59 with 3:06 to go before reeling off eight straight points that gave them a 67-60 lead with 1:38 to play. That was enough to carry Siena to the road victory in the contest. Siena shot 49% from the field, including six of 14 from three-point range, and won the rebounding battle 31-17. Javian McCollum poured in 27 points to lead Siena in the win.

On the season, the Saints are an average team on the offensive end as they are 191st in scoring offense with 71.3 points per game. Siena pull s down an average of 33.3 rebounds (283rd) per game while dishing out 12.6 assists (243rd) per contest on the year. The Saints are slightly above average on the defensive end of the floor, ranking 158th in scoring defense by allowing 68.4 points per game.
