The Royals pitching saved the day on Sunday, limiting the Dodgers to just two hits for the entire game and 0 for 7 with runners in scoring position. The Royals offense was able to do enough to get it done, led by Vinnie Pasquantino who went 3 for 4 with a home run and two RBI.
Kansas City will send 24-year-old southpaw Kris Bubic (2-6, 5.02 ERA) to the mound on Monday. He is 1-2 with a 4.58 ERA on the road, the bullpen behind him his 28th with a 4.69 ERA.
