Notre Dame was able to out-duel the Yellow Jackets in overtime and turned away a last second shot to earn the team's first conference win. Dane Goodwin led the way with a team-high 19 points and a career-high 12 rebounds for the double-double. JJ Starling chipped in with 16 points, including 11 points in the second half.

With a conference win under its belt, Notre Dame can now begin the road back to respectability in the ACC.
