The Chicago Bulls (19-22, 21-18-2 ATS, 20-20 O/U) battle the Washington Wizards (17-24, 17-21-3 ATS, 20-19 O/U)  in an Eastern Conference bout on Wednesday evening. The Bulls were hit with a road loss by the Celtics last time out. The Wizards lost a home decision against the Pelicans on Monday. The season series is 1-1. 

The Chicago Bulls enter this one as a winner of three out of their last four games. Chicago had a three-game winning streak end in a 107-99 road loss to the Celtics on Monday in a bout that had the Bulls labeled as 9.5-point dogs. Chicago defeated strong opposition in the recent winning streak, beating the Nets, 76ers, and Jazz. They have covered the spread in four straight games. 

DeMar DeRozan has posted several big performances recently but only managed 13 points in Monday’s defeat. The 33-year-old is having one of the best seasons of his outstanding career, recording an average of 26.1 PPG and 4.9 APG. Zach LaVine has eclipsed 30 points in two out of his last three games. The veteran shooting guard scored 25 points in the meeting against the Wizards last month and has logged an average of 23.4 PPG. Nikola Vucevic has recorded the double-dou ble in six consecutive games. The 32-year-old center is having a stellar year, posting an average of 16.9 PPG and 10.9 RPG. 

The Bulls have been solid on the road as of late, going 3-2 in their last five clashes including an overtime loss to the Cavaliers and a win against the 76ers. Chicago has surpassed 120 points in four out of their last five games and is averaging 114.7 points on the season, good for 13th. They are squandering an average of 115.3 points, placing them 19th in the league.
