Georgia Tech vs. Notre Dame Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 1-10-2023

Georgia Tech will try to bounce back from a loss at Florida State when it travels to Notre Dame for an ACC matchup on Tuesday night. The Yellow Jackets have lost three of their last four games, including a 75-64 setback against Florida State on Saturday. Notre Dame has dropped six of its last seven games, falling to North Carolina in an 81-64 blowout on Saturday.

Georgia Tech got off to a decent start this season when it won six of its first nine games, with its losses coming against Utah, Marquette and Iowa. The Yellow Jackets have lost four of their six games since then though, with one of those wins coming against Alcorn State. They lost their first three ACC games, losing to North Carolina, Clemson and then-No. 13 Virginia by double digits. Georgia Tech was able to bounce back with a surprising upset win against then-No. 12 Miami on Wednesday, pulling off the upset as a 6.5-point underdog. The Yellow Jackets were unable to build on that win, losing to Florida State as 2.5-point ‘dogs on Saturday.

They have not been shooting the ball well this season, ranked No. 264 in 2-point percentage (47.8) and No. 190 from 3-point range (33.2). Georgia Tech’s strength on the offensive end has been its turnover rate, as it is No. 54 out of 363 Division I teams. The Yellow Jackets should have success in that category on Tuesday, as they are facing a Notre Dame defense that is No. 360 in turnover rate. Notre Dame has not been good on the defensive end overall, ranked No. 225 in adjusted efficiency.
