Its a showdown in the Mid-American Conference as the Northern Illinois Huskies host the Central Michigan Chippewas. Northern Illinois is 4-11 overall and 0-2 in the MAC while Central Michigan is 6-9 overall and 1-1 in the MAC. Central Michigan beat Northern Illinois 69-63 last season.

The Central Michigan Chippewas are 6-9 overall and 1-2 in the MAC. They have won 2 out of their last three games, but fell in defeat to Eastern Michigan on Saturday 62-56, snapping a two game winning streak. The Chippewas couldn't overcome Emoni Bates, who had 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead EMU.

Markus Harding led the Chippewas with 15 points and seven rebounds while Brian Taylor added 13 points and 10 rebounds and Reggie Bass had 11 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals.  The Chippewas played without their leading scorer and playmaker, Kevin Miller, who averages 18.5 points and 5.2 assists per game. Miller is questionable for Tuesday's game. Central Michigan is ranked No. 259 by KenPom.
