The San Francisco 49ers (12-4) will host the Arizona Cardinals (4-12) on Friday in the final game of the regular season. The 49ers beat the Cardinals 38-10 in Mexico City when these teams met during Week 11.
The Arizona Cardinals are on a six-game losing streak after falling to the Atlanta Falcons 20-19 on New Year's Day. The Cardinals out gained the Falcons 339 to 298 in total yards in the loss. David Blough made the start at quarterback in the loss and went 24 for 40 with 222 yards and a touchdown. Blough was the fourth quarterback to make a start this season for Arizona.

Sunday will likely be the last game leading the Cardinals for head coach Kliff Kingsbury. After going 8-8 in 2020, and 11-6 in 2021, this season has been highly disappointing. Arizona is 21st in the NFL in both offensive yards per game (327.8 ypg), 20.4 ppg, and yards allowed (351.3 ypg) on defense. The Cardinals are 30th allowing 25.7 ppg.
