The Seattle Kraken face the Ottawa Senators with both teams looking to build off promising seasons. The Kraken have a 21-12-4 record and with three wins in a row have jumped into third place in the Pacific Division. The Senators have an 18-17-3 record but have won back-to-back games to improve in the Atlantic Division. Both teams are looking to make up ground in their divisions and the playoff picture and the upcoming game should be a good one as a result.

The Kraken are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.54 goals per game with 14 goals in the last three games. Andre Burakovsky, Matthew Beniers, and Jordan Eberle have scored 31 goals and 54 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has also stepped up. Jared McCann, Yanni Gourde, and Daniel Sprong have combined for 34 goals and 37 assists while defensemen Vince Dunn and Justin Schultz have added eight goals and 35 assists from the point to put the offense over the top.

The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.16 goals per game. Adam Larsson and Vince Dunn have combined for 4.6 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to carry the puck into the offensive zone and find open shots on the net at will.
