We’ve got a small 4-game NBA slate today, but it is made up for with the caliber of matchups. The highlight of the night is the Boston Celtics (-2) against the Dallas Mavericks, as the Celtics look to break a 2-game skid. We will get an MVP showdown between Luka Doncic (+280) and Jayson Tatum (+420) which should not disappoint. In the late slot, we have the Clippers traveling to Denver (-5), but at the time of writing we do not have any indication on Kawhi Leonard or Paul George's status, but the expectation is that they will play. Tatum's last 3 matchups against the Mavericks have been a success in the rebound column, grabbing 13, 11 and 11. Dallas has played well of late but is allowing the 3rd-most RPG to opposing PFs and the 5th-most PPG to opposing PFs over the last 7 games. Dallas is also dead last in offensive rebounding efficiency. The Celtics, including Tatum, will be highly motivated coming off that ugly 33-point loss to the Thunder the other night and are 2-point favorites on the road. 1U
