The Auburn Tigers (11-2, 5-8 ATS, 7-6 O/U) meet with the Georgia Bulldogs (10-3, 6-7 ATS, 6-7 O/U) in an SEC battle on Wednesday night. The Tigers collected a a home win against Florida on Wednesday. The Bulldogs beat Rider in their previous action. Auburn beat Georgia in both meetings last season.

The #22 Auburn Tigers are seeking a third straight victory. They were 8-0 to begin the season but the schedule has increased in difficulty and some losses against power conference opponents have resulted. Auburn has lost road decisions against Memphis and USC. They answered by defeating Washington, followed by a 61-58 home win against Florida on Wednesday in a clash that had the Tigers favored by 7.5 points. The Tigers have only covered the spread in one out of their last five games. 

Wendell Green Jr. has been inconsistent. The junior guard has shot below 40% in five consecutive games and his season average has dipped to 12.7 PPG on only 38% shooting. John Broome is thriving, sinking 13 or more points in four consecutive bouts. The sophomore forward recorded the double-double against Florida last time out and is posting an average of 12.3 PPG along w ith 8.4 RPG. Jaylin Williams has scored double-digits in three out of his last four games. The senior forward has reported an average of 10.3 PPG and 5.3 RPG. 

The Tigers are ranked 18th in DI in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and dropped two spots to #22 in this week’s version of the AP Top 25. Auburn is posting an average of 72.7 points, ranking them 173rd. They have only conceded 61 and 58 points in their last two games and are limiting opponents to 61.8 points, good for 39th in the country.
