Missouri Tigers (12-1) vs. Arkansas Razorbacks (11-2)

The college basketball betting action goes on Wednesday, January 4, with the highly-anticipated Southeastern Conference showdown between the Missouri Tigers and Arkansas Razorbacks at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas. 

The tip-off is set for 8:30 PM ET. The Razorbacks shoot for their fifth consecutive victory over the Tigers and open as firm 7.5-point home favorites with a total of 154.0 points.  

The Missouri Tigers (12-1; 8-5 ATS; 1-0 conf.) started the conference play last Wednesday, beating the No. 19 Kentucky Wildcats 89-75 as 3-point home underdogs. It was their third victory in a row and the second straight over a top-25 team, as the Tigers routed the No. 16 Illinois Fighting Illini 93-71 on December 22. 

Missouri dominated Kentucky for all 40 minutes. The Tigers shot 49.1% from the field (10-for-25 from deep) and 82.1% from the charity stripe (23-for-28) while posting a nice 18/8 assist-to-turnover ratio. Senior forward Kobe Brown went off for 30 points and six rebounds, and senior guard D’Moi Hodge had 15 points and a couple of assists and steals. Brown, who had a season-high 31 points versus Illinois, is now tallying 15.6 points and 5.7 rebounds p er game while making 60.6% of his field goals. 

The Tigers are No. 20 in the AP Top 25 Poll and No. 31 in the NCAA NET Rankings. KenPom has Missouri at No. 33, as the Tigers score 117.6 points per 100 possessions (4th in the nation). They shoot 61.5% from the field (3rd) while making 10.0 triples per game (14th) on a 37.1 percentage clip (58th). The Tigers also tally 19.8 assists (4th) and 12.5 steals per contest (1st). They allow 101.3 points per 100 possessions (150th) on 49.4% shooting from inside the arc (208th) and 36.0% from downtown (304th).
