Arizona comes in off a 93-68 home win over Morgan State in their previous game back on December 22, though they failed to cover the line as a 31-point favorite. Arizona State was thrashed 97-60 on the road by San Francisco in their last game December 21, losing outright as a three-point favorite. Arizona won their sixth straight game as they rolled past Morgan State at home in their previous contest. The Wildcats improved their record to 12-1 on the year and stand 1-1 in the Pac-12 as they take the floor in this one. Against Morgan State, Arizona led by just one with 2:43 to play in the first half before going on a run to take control of the game. The Wildcats used a 16-2 run spanning both halves to go up 46-32 with 18:51 to play and never let the lead drop below 11 the rest of the way. Arizona shot 57.6% from the field, including eight of 25 from beyond the arc, and controlled the boards by a 40-19 margin. Azuolas Tubelis led the Wildcats with 26 points and nine rebounds in the win.

The Wildcats average 90.2 points per game this season, putting them 2nd in the nation in scoring offense. Arizona grabs 41.7 rebounds per contest (8th) while they are 2nd in the nation by handing out 20.8 assists per contest.
