Milwaukee will look to improve upon a disappointing 1-4 record on the road thus far this season. On Thursday night, the Panthers dropped their first Horizon League game with an 83-61 loss to the Oakland Golden Grizzlies. Milwaukee was led by Ahmad Rand, who had 12 points to go along with three blocks and three rebounds. Markeith Browning II added six points, seven rebounds and four assists while Jalen Johnson delivered 10 points off the bench. Milwaukee shot just 37% from the field and turned the ball over 15 times in the loss.
“We just didn't guard anyone,” head coach Bart Lundy said. “We didn't get two consecutive stops the whole half – we can't play like that; we can't defend like that. And you can't expect any outcome other than this if you do.”
