Jarrett Stidham will start last two games for Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders still have a chance to make the playoffs, but you wouldn’t know it by what has transpired over the last few days. Derek Carr has been benched and has even left the team to “avoid being a distraction” for the final two games of the season against the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. Jarrett Stidham will make his first career NFL start on Sunday.
The odds to make the playoffs were long for the Raiders anyway with two of the league’s best teams on the schedule, but Carr threw three interceptions in last week’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the team will likely cut the franchise quarterback after the season.

For Raiders vs. 49ers, the lookahead line going into Week 16 was 49ers -4.5 on the road at Allegiant Stadium, but several sportsbooks are as high as -10 a few days in advance of the game.
