The South Florida Bulls finished out their non-conference schedule with a flourish in winning their final five games. The five straight wins have pushed the Bulls past .500 for the season at 7-6. In their last victory, the Bulls downed NJIT 92-73 at home. The win streak is now the longest since 2019 for South Florida and the 92 points were a season-high. Selton Miguel led the way with a career-high 23 points and added four assists. Tyler Harris tied his own season-high with 22 points, including six 3-pt field goals. Rounding out the top performers, Russel Tchewa had his first double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
“We had a lot of guys contribute tonight, and played really good complimentary basketball,” said head coach Brian Gregory. “This is one of the hardest games of the season to play with the holiday break right around the corner, but I was proud of our team's effort.”
