Week 17 of the 2022 NFL season features an exciting slate of matchups, including a Thursday Night Football tilt between the Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Titans.

The Cowboys are coming off an exciting NFC East rivalry game, having picked up a 40-34 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Christmas Eve. Meanwhile, the Titans lost for the fifth straight time over the weekend, falling 19-14 to the rival Houston Texans.

Can the Cowboys continue building momentum to close out the regular season? Or will the Titans figure out a way to save their campaign before it's too late?

Cowboys vs Titans Prediction & Pick

With quarterback Ryan Tannehill being ruled out for the rest of the season, there isn't much of a reason to like the Titans. After all, they just lost to the worst team in football last week and now face a Cowboys team that just defeated the league-leading Eagles. Sure, Philadelphia was without Jalen Hurts, but there's no denying that momentum is on Dallas' side after that massive victory.

Titans rookie QB Malik Willis will likely have a tough time on Thursday as well. On top of allowing the 11th-fewest passing yards (202.5), the Cowboys' defenders have accum ulated the third-most sacks (49) and are tied for the fifth-most interceptions (14).

I also don't see how the Titans can stop the Cowboys' high-flying offense. Dallas has scored an average of 38.8 points in its last four games, whereas Tennessee has surrendered 34-plus in two of its last four outings. Unless the Titans have their best performance of the season, this could get ugly fast.

Back the Cowboys winning without breaking a sweat.

Final Score Prediction:'Cowboys: 38 | Titans: 17

Cowboys vs Titans Best Bet

A 10.5-point spread can be daunting, but the Cowboys are in a great position to cover it this Thursday. The Titans have looked horrible on both sides of the ball, highlighted by two of their last four losses being coming by at least 14 points. With the offensive weapons that Dallas possesses, another blo wout loss isn't out of the question.

Furthermore, the Cowboys have covered the spread in 11 of their last 14 road games, whereas the Titans are 0-4-1 ATS during their five-game skid. With Dallas also covering the spread in four of its last five trips to Nissan Stadium, I'll take the Cowboys covering yet again.
