3 Best Prop Bets for Nets vs Cavaliers on Dec. 26 (Donovan Mitchell Bounces Back)

The 2022-23 NBA season continues on Monday with seven games, including an Eastern Conference showdown between the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers. The game is expected to be a tight one with Cleveland only favored by 2 points at home on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Here are three of the'best prop bets'for this Nets-Cavaliers game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook's'NBA odds.

Nets vs Cavaliers Player Props

1. Donovan Mitchell – Player Points: Over 27.5 (-106)

Mitchell has flourished in his first season with the Cavs, averaging a career-high 28.9 points per game. His scoring average has ticked up in December, too, as he's averaging 29.9 points per game this month. He only managed 12 points in his last game against the Toronto Raptors on Dec. 23, but look for him to b ounce back in a big way tonight. Cleveland will need him to step up if it wants to keep pace with Brooklyn's potent offense, so Mitchell should be aggressive shooting the ball.

2. Darius Garland – Player Points: Under 19.5 (-106)

Garland may be averaging 20.6 points per game this year, but his scoring has fallen off lately. Over his last 15 games, he's averaging 17.9 points per game, going under this prop 11 times during that stretch. Brooklyn has a formidable defense that allows the eighth-fewest points per game, so don't expect Garland to reverse that trend tonight, especially if Mitchell takes on more of the scoring load.

3. Kevin Durant – Player Points: Over 27.5 (-114)

Durant is having another stellar season, averaging just south of 30 points per game (29.9). He's also in the midst of an epic hot streak that has seen him average 31.5 points per game on 60.2% shooting over his last 13 games. KD has hit the over on this prop 10 times during that span and should log heavy minutes tonight in what will likely be a close game, resulting in another impressive points total for him.
