Bowl season'is underway after an exciting 2022 college football campaign. One successful program taking part in the postseason once again is the Utah State Aggies, who will'face Memphis in the First Responder Bowl on Tuesday, Dec. 27.

Utah State Bowl Game History

Utah State has frequented the college football postseason more often in recent years. The Aggies have played in 14 bowls across the school's history (nine since 2011) prior to facing Memphis.

The Aggies made their first bowl appearance in 1946 as part of the Mountain States Conference. They fell in a 20-0 loss against San Jose State in the Raisin Bowl that year.

There was a time when Utah State stru ggled to qualify for bowl games, playing just four between 1960 and 2010. Things have been much different over the last decade or so, though. In their last bowl appearance, the Aggies wound up defeating Oregon State, 24-13, at the 2021 LA Bowl.
