The (5-9) New Orleans Saints will pay a visit to the (6-8) Cleveland Browns on Saturday at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Saints have won two of their past six but did pick up a victory over Atlanta last week. The Browns were also winners last week, defeating Baltimore 13-3. It was their third win in the past four games. These two teams have not met since 2018 when New Orleans edged Cleveland 21-18 at the Superdome.
Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. ET. The Browns are three-point spread favorites, and the game total is 32 points.
New Orleans is still alive in the NFC South after last week's victory and division leader Tampa Bay's loss to Cincinnati. It will take another stellar performance on the road this week to beat a Browns team similarly clinging to its playoff hopes.
In the win over the Falcons, Andy Dalton and Taysom Hill accounted for 230 combined passing yards and three touchdowns. The duo relied on New Orleans' dynamic weapons, tight end Juwan Johnson and rookie receiver Rashid Shaheed to pick up the win, as the pass-catchers hauled in all three touchdowns and combined for 162 receiving yards. The defense, which gave up 18 points, did enough to secure the win, although New Orleans did benefit from playing against a rookie QB, Desmond Ridder, making his NFL debut.
