The Seattle Redhawks enter this three-game tournament off to a strong start this season. They are 8-2 and have won three out of their last four games. After struggling through the first half in their last game, vs. Alcorn State, Seattle came alive in the second half by shooting 56% from the field in the second half to pull away for a 72-58 win. The win improved the Redhawks to 5-0 at home this season. All ten Redhawks that got into the game scored and eight players knocked down a three-point shot. Cameron Tyson and Paris Dawson both scored 13 points to lead Seattle.

“We haven't been playing well lately so it was good to leave this game with a 14 point win,” said Head Coach Chris Victor. “We didn't start off the way we like. We turned the ball over a lot early and looked a little sloppy, but we were able to settled in. We used our defense to create some separation, we started to get some stops, rebound the ball well. We need to start putting together more stretches like that.”

Seattle is 95th in the country in points per game while ranking just 168th in points allowed per game. They are 154th in the country in 3pt field goal percentage and are a bit sloppy with the ball, ranked 163rd in the nation in turnovers per game. Defending the 3pt ball will be critical in this matchup and the Redhawks rank 63rd in 3pt defense. Seattle is a solid 53rd in the country in rebounds per game. They come into this game having played the 283rd toughest schedule in the country.
