The (7-5) Northern Kentucky Norse and (10-1) Florida Atlantic Owls will meet Wednesday for a non-conference showdown at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena. The Norse defeated Eastern Kentucky and Miami-Hamilton in consecutive games. They have won five of their past six, falling to only Washington State. The Owls, winners of nine straight, defeated Florida International 79-53 in their most recent game.

Tip-off will be at 7:00 p.m. ET. The Owls are 15.5-point spread favorites, and the game total is 129 points.

In its latest win over the Harriers, NKU scored 81 points on 52.0 percent shooting. The Norse recorded 19 assists on 26 made field goals, outrebounded their opponent 34-22, and won the turnover battle with 17 steals. Junior guard Marques Warrick scored 26 points, and sophomore center Imanuel Zorgvol added 15 points and eight rebounds.

Defeating Eastern Kentucky wasn't as easy, as the Norse led by just four at halftime and were outscored 35-34 in the second half. Senior guard Xavier Rhodes led WKU to the three-point victory, scoring 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting, including 3-of-4 from distance. The Norse shot 43.8 percent from the field and outrebounded the Colonels 39-34 but committed 15 turnovers and shot just 8-for-24 from long range (33.3%).

This season, Northern Kentucky is averaging 67.5 points per game, shooting 42.9 percent from the floor and 33.5 percent from distance. The Norse shoot 65.3 percent from the foul line and average 31.7 rebounds per game. Their offensive efficiency rating, adjusted for schedule, is ranked 241st in D-1, per KenPom.
