Notre Dame (7-4 SU, 2-9 ATS) travels to Tallahassee to take on Florida State (3-10 SU, 5-8 ATS) on Wednesday night at 8:30pmET in an ACC matchup.

These teams met once last season with the Seminoles winning 74-70 at home as a 4-point underdog on March 2.

Notre Dame has lost three of their last four games including two straight to Marquette (79-64) at home and 77-62 at Atlanta in the Holiday Hoopsgiving event on Dec. 18. The Fighting Irish were outrebounded 35-25 and was led by Nate Laszewski's 20 points. At one point, Georgia led by just three points and then closed out the game with a 19-7 run to win by 17.  The Bulldogs shot 50% from the field, while Notre Dame shot 43%. The one good thing they did was shoot 48% (11-23) from beyond the arc.

Mike Brey's squad was 15-5 in the ACC last season, but with just two starters returning, they are struggling as the quality of competition has gotten better. They did have a strong win against Michigan State 70-52 on Nov. 30, but that came after a 63-51 loss to St. Bonaventure at the Gotham Classic in Elmont, N.Y. on Nov. 25.

Laszewski (6-10, 235) is a grad student who leads the team with 15.4 points per game and 7.9 rebounds on 53.9% shooting from the field and 42.2% from long range. Notre Dame is one of the better shooting teams in the ACC, having made 46.7% of their shots and 38.6% (34th) of their three-pointers. Defensively, they have struggled, allowing 46% of their opponents' field goals (318th) and 33.2% of three-pointers. They also get outrebounded by 1.5 per game  to rank 277th.
