The Texans, who have all but locked up the No. 1 overall selection in the 2023 draft, almost beat the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs the last 2 weeks as 17- and 14-point underdogs respectively. The Texans have not quit and continue to play tough for coach Lovie Smith.
Tennessee is on a 4-game losing streak and with an injured Ryan Tannehill behind center. Tannehill was carted off the field in Sunday’s 17-14 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, but returned to the game and almost led the Titans to the win. With the loss the Titans are only 1 game ahead of the Jacksonville Jaguars for the division title, the only path to the playoffs for either team.
