Both squads faced Xavier this season, with the Musketeers picking up a 22-point win over the Grizzlies and falling by four points to the Bulldogs.

Junior forward Josh Bannan led Montana with 22 points on 8-of-10 shooting, with five rebounds. Senior guard Aanen Moody scored 21 points, junior forward Dischon Thomas contributed 17 points and seven boards, and junior guard Brandon Whitney scored 16.

This season, Montana is scoring 67.8 points per game on 45.3 percent shooting, including 33.9 percent from distance. Its offensive efficiency rating, adjusted for schedule, is ranked 147th in the country, per KenPom. The Grizzlies' assist-to-turnover ratio (0.93) is ranked 197th overall.

On defense, Montana surrenders 67.4 points on 44.1 percent shooting, including 30.3 percent from long range. Its opponents are averaging 26.2 rebounds per game, the 10th-fewest in the nation. Montana's adjusted defensive efficiency rating is ranked 230th.
