The Winnipeg Jets face the Seattle Kraken with both teams looking to build off strong starts to the season. The Jets have a 19-9-1 record and are near the top of the Central Division while the Kraken have a 16-10-3 record and are in third place in the Pacific Division. Both teams are looking to remain near the top of their divisions and the Western Conference and the upcoming game should be a good one as a result.

The offense has stepped up but the defense has carried the Jets, allowing only 2.62 goals per game. Josh Morrissey and Brenden Dillon have combined for 4.1 defensive point shares and 84 blocked shots while Neal Pionk and Dylan DeMelo have combined for 2.8 defensive point shares to give the Jets multiple great defensive pairings. In addition, goaltender Connor Hellebuyck has stepped up in the net with a .927 save percentage and a 2.39 goals -against average on 758 shots.
