Bradley Braves (7-3) vs. Arkansas Razorbacks (9-1)

The 2022-23 college basketball season continues with another loaded Saturday slate, and the Bradley Braves head to Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas, to meet the Arkansas Razorbacks for the first time ever.

It’s the neutral-side battle, though the Razorbacks will have strong support from the stands. Arkansas opens as an 11-point fave, while the totals sit at 133.0 points.

The Bradley Braves (7-3; 5-4 ATS) take the floor for the first time in nearly two weeks, coming off a 56-54 victory as 6-point road favorites at SIU Edwardsville on December 6. It was their fourth win on the spin and the Braves held their opponents below a 56-point mark for the fifth straight outing. Three players scored 12 points apiece including junior forward Rienk Mast, who also had eight rebounds, and the Braves erased an eight-point halftime deficit against the Cougars.

Mast had his season debut in an 83-41 dismantling of the Merrimack Warriors that started the Braves’ winning run. He’s averaged 13.0 points and 7.8 rebounds over the last four games after tallying 11.6 points and 8.4 boards a night in 2021-22. Senior forward Ja’Shon Henry (13.0 PPG, 6.0 RPG in 2022-23) has missed six straight games due to a concussion and is questionable to play against Arkansas.

Bradley is No. 77 in the NCAA NET Rankings and No. 100 in the KenPom rankings. The Braves lean on their defense, allowing 95.8 points per 100 possessions (60th in the nation). They rank 44th in opposing field goal percentage (39.1%) and 43rd in defensive rebound percentage (75.7%). The Braves make 53.4% of their 2-pointers (112th) and 35.4% of their triples (121st) while scoring 102.1 points per 100 possessions (179th).
