It’s a non-conference matchup on the hardwood when a member of the Atlantic 10 travels to face the ACC on a neutral floor down in the Palmetto State. The Richmond Spiders are on the road as they travel to face the Clemson Tigers in Greenville, South Carolina Saturday night. Richmond crushed Fairleigh Dickinson 77-48 at home in their previous contest Tuesday night. Clemson was knocked off 76-58 by Loyola Chicago Saturday in the Holiday Hoopsgiving at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta Saturday in their previous game. In the all-time series between the teams, each team has won once though they haven’t met in seven decades: the Spiders earned a 74-60 road win in the most recent matchup on December 13, 1952.
