The Anaheim Ducks (8-20-3, 19 points, 8th Pacific) look to string together two consecutive victories for just the second time this season when visiting the Edmonton Oilers (17-13-1, 35 points, T-3rd Pacific), losers of two of their last three. Anaheim was a 5-2 winner over the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night, while Edmonton was a 4-3 loser in a shootout to the St Louis Blues on Thursday night. Anaheim will play without Jamie Drysdale, Derek Grant, John Moore, and Anthony Stolarz, while John Gibson and Max Jones are questionable. Edmonton will play without Warren Foegele, Evander Kane and Ryan McLeod.
