The Dallas Stars face the Carolina Hurricanes with both teams looking to build off strong seasons. The Stars have an 18-8-5 record and with back-to-back wins have the best record in the Central Division. The Hurricanes have a 17-6-6 record and with a three-game winning streak have leaped into second place in the Metropolitan Division. Both teams are looking to remain near the top of their divisions and the upcoming game should be a great one as a result.

The Stars are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.61 goals per game. Jason Robertson, Roope Hintz, and Joe Pavelski have scored 46 goals and 62 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has also stepped up. Esa Lindell and Colin Miller have combined for 4.2 defensive point shares and 79 blocked shots while Miro Heiskanen and Jani Hakanpaa have combined for 3.5 defensive point shares to give the Stars multiple great defensive pairings.
