The (2-9) Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix will travel to California for a non-conference battle with the (3-6) Stanford Cardinal on Friday night. Green Bay has won two of its past four games after starting its season 0-7. Stanford has lost three straight, including conference games versus UCLA and Arizona State. The Phoenix is 0-5 in road games, while the Cardinal is 2-2 at home this season.
Stanford is a 24.5-point spread favorite, and the game total is 130.5 points. Tip-off from Maples Pavilion is at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Its offensive efficiency rating, adjusted for schedule, is ranked 352nd, and its defensive efficiency rating is 356th. In other words, the Phoenix is in for many challenging games this season.
The Phoenix did manage to win games against IUPUI and Kansas City, beating the Jaguars by seven and the Roos by six. In each game, Green Bay shot over 45 percent from the field, including 52.5 percent against Kansas City. They also shot over 50 percent in their most recent game against St. Thomas-Minnesota but didn't win. The Phoenix turned the ball over too many times, gave up 13 offensive rebounds, and allowed the Tommies to shoot 12-of-25 from three-point range, leading to a 21-point loss.

Wisconsin-Green Bay is led in scoring by sophomore forward Cade Meyer (12.2 PPG on 54.1 percent shooting). It relies on sophomore guard Zae Blake (10.5 PPG, 59.7 FG%), freshman forward Brock Heffner (9.2 PPG), and sophomore forward Clarence Cummings III (8.7 PPG), as well.
