Things have gone from bad to worse for the Golden State Warriors after they appeared to be hitting their stride. After soundly defeating the Boston Celtics at home in an NBA Finals rematch, the Warriors hit the road and have been soundly beaten in two straight games, first by the Bucks and then by the Indiana Pacers. Here comes the worst part, MVP-candidate Steph Curry hurt his shoulder in the Indiana game and his status is now listed as day-to-day while the team gets set to get him an MRI. On Wednesday night, Curry scored 27 of his 38 points in the first half before leaving the game late in the 3rd quarter while defending Jalen Smith. Curry grabbed at his shoulder and disappeared into the locker room and didn't return. With the loss, the Warriors are now just 2-12 on the road this season.

“He's going to get an MRI tomorrow,” coach Steve Kerr said of Curry. “The trainers told me he was out midway through the fourth quarter. I only spoke to him briefly after the game, so I haven't had a chance to talk with him yet.”

Golden State is led by its potent offense with the team 3rd in scoring offense, 8th in field goal percentage and fifth in 3pt field goal percentage. Defensively, Golden State is 13th in defensive field goal percentage and 13th in 3pt field goal percentage. They are also just 20th in scoring defense. If Curry misses a significant amount of time, the Golden State offense will take a dip as they will lose the spacing their offense needs to succeed.

Key Injuries: Along with Curry, Andrew Wiggins (groin) has still yet to be cleared to play.
