Best NBA player prop bets for today, 12/14: Mobley keeps his streak going

The NBA has a great 10 game slate in store for us on Wednesday night. Among the teams in action will be the defending champions Golden State Warriors who travel to take on the Indiana Pacers. We also have 2 nationally televised games with the New York Knicks taking on the Chicago Bulls. That is followed by the Minnesota Timberwolves traveling to take on the Los Angeles Clippers.

Take a looks at all of our NBA picks, but for now let’s dive into my player prop selections.

Evan Mobley Over 8.5 rebounds (-136)

Over the last 10 games Evan Mobley has been averaging 11.1 rebounds per game for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He should have a great chance of reaching similar numbers tonight against the Dallas Mavericks, too. Up against him will most likely be Dorian Finney-Smith. The Mavericks’ forward is making just 33.3% of his 3-point attempts this season. That should allow Mobley to sag off and not mark him as tightly on the perimeter, improving his rebounding position. He looks bound to be one of the primary help defenders for when Luka Doncic drives into the paint, continuously placing him in and around the rim. Considering he has managed double-digit rebounds in 5 of 6 games this month, this does not seem to be the game to expect him to buck the trend on.
