The UCLA Bruins and Maryland Terrapins face off on Wednesday in a college basketball showdown at the Xfinity Center in College Park. When these two teams faced off in 2007 it was UCLA that secured the 71-59 victory.

On the other side of this matchup is Maryland who sits with an 8-2 record and they have gone 8-2 against the spread. Maryland has lost two games in a row, but they were competitive against Wisconsin and Tennessee. In the last game against Tennessee, Maryland only scored 53 points and they lost by three points. The Terrapins are averaging 75.8 points while their defense is giving up 60.8 points per game. The defense is ranked 28th in the league, and is going to need to step up in a big way here. Guard Jahmir Young has been the top player for Maryland averaging 15.6 points while shooting 43 percent from the field and 29.3 percent from behind the three point line.
