The San Francisco 49ers (9-4, 8-5 ATS, 6-7 O/U) collide with the Seattle Seahawks (7-6, 6-7 ATS, 8-5 O/U) in a divisional showdown on Thursday night. The 49ers stayed hot by clobbering the Buccaneers last week. The Seahawks were dealt a home loss by Carolina. San Francisco recorded a dominating 27-7 home win against Seattle in September.

The San Francisco 49ers are one of the hottest teams in the entire NFL. They have now won a stellar six consecutive games propelled by stifling defense and continue to stand alone atop the division. San Francisco has won by double digits in each of its last four games including a win against the Dolphins earlier this month and were 3.5 point favorites in a dominating 35-7 victory against the Bucs last week. The 49ers have covered the spread in four consecutive bouts.

Jimmy Garoppolo is unlikely to return in the regular season and there were some questions as to how the 49ers would perform without their #1 QB. Brock Purdy has answered those questions by dazzling in his two starts. The 22-year-old rookie QB posted 210 passing yards against Miami and amassed 185 yards on a great 76% completion efficiency against the Bucs last week. Purdy has recorded 461 passing yards and a 4:2 TD to INT ratio on the season. He is dealing with an oblique injury but is expected to play. If Purdy is unable to play it will be veteran backup Josh Johnson under center.

Christian McCaffery had his best game of the season last week, accumulating 119 rushing yards. The 26-year-old has been inconsistent at times since arriving in the trade from Carolina and now has accrued 819 rushing yards on the season. Brandon Aiyuk has made at least five catches in two out of his last three performances. The 24-year-old WR now has a team-best 755 receiving yards while Deebo Samuel has 612 yards. Samuel is questionable with an ankle injury. The San Francisco offense is clicking, eclipsing 30 points in three out of its last four games.

The 49ers' defense continues to prove it’s one of the NFL’s elite units. They have held their foe to 17 or fewer points in six straight games. They limited Brady to 253 passing yards last week and the rush defense continued its dominance. They now stand 12th in the league against the pass and rank 1st in rush defense. San Francisco is scoring an average of 24.4 points, ranking them eighth. They are limiting opponents to only 15.2 points which leads the NFL.
