The UAB Blazers are certainly coming into this matchup hot. They have won six straight games as they get set to play their final three non-conference games before heading into Conference USA play. In their last matchup, the Blazers took a sluggish 76-68 win over South Alabama. Jordan Walker led the way with 30 points and eight assists for UAB. KJ Buffen added a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds on a night that UAB shot just 41% from the floor. The game marked the first time all season that the Blazers failed to score at least 80 points.

This will mark the first true road game for UAB this season as they've gone 5-0 at home and 2-1 in neutral site games thus far. Their signature win thus far has been a 14-point win over Georgia out of the SEC. UAB has been one of the highest scoring teams in the country, ranking 3rd with 90.1 points per game. They are outscoring the opposition by 22.1 points per game and hitting on 49% of their shots overall and 34% from long range. The Blazers are also averaging nearly 43 rebounds per game and holding the opposition to just 34.5 rebounds per contest. They are forcing 16 turnovers per game.
