The San Diego State Aztecs and Saint Mary’s Gales face off on Saturday in a college basketball showdown at the Footprint Center. When these teams faced off in 2021 it was San Diego State that secured the 63-53 victory.

Saint Mary’s is averaging 68.6 points while their defense is giving up 55.9 points per game. The defense is ranked 9th best in college basketball. Center Mitchell Saxen is having a strong season averaging 13.9 points while shooting 54.1 percent from the field. There are four different players that are averaging at least 10 points per game.
