Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (6-2) vs. Wyoming Cowboys (4-5)
The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and Wyoming Cowboys lock horns in the non-conference college basketball showdown at Arena Auditorium in Laramie, Wyoming, on Saturday night with the tip-off at 9:00 PM ET. These two schools meet each other for the first time since 2011, and the Cowboys open as slight 2-point home favorites.
Both teams have injury worries ahead of this clash. Louisiana Tech misses sophomore guards Kaleb Stewart (4.3 PPG) and David Green (3.3 PPG), while junior forward Isaiah Crawford (13.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG) is questionable to play. On the other side, Wyoming cannot count on junior forward Graham Ike, who averaged 19.5 points and 9.6 rebounds in 2021-22.
The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (6-2; 4-2 ATS) comfortably defeated the Southern Jaguars 74-59 on December 2, extending their winning run to five games. The Bulldogs covered an 8.5-point spread on the home court, holding the Jaguars to 20 first-half points. Louisiana Tech made 48.3% of its field goals and nine of its 25 attempts from beyond the arc while posting a 17/11 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Junior guard Cobe Williams leads the way for the Bulldogs, racking up 18.3 points and 3.4 assists per game in 2022-23. He’s shooting 53.0% from the field and 38.5% from downtown. Williams notched 21 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and four steals versus Southern, while fellow junior G Keaston Willis added 16 points and five boards.

The Bulldogs score 103.6 points per 100 possessions (131st in the nation) and surrender 99.7 in a return (122nd). They make 9.9 triples per game (27th) on a 37.6 percentage clip (60th). The Bulldogs turn the ball over 16.3 times per game, enough for the 14th-worst record in the country, but they also force 19.0 turnovers per contest (14th-best in the country).
