The Troy Trojans and the UTSA Roadrunners play in the Cure Bowl on December 16, 2022, starting at 3:00 PM ET, airing on ESPN.

The Trojans squared off against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers in their last outing, winning 45-26. The Roadrunners’ last game was a 48-27 win over the North Texas Mean Green. In that matchup with the Chanticleers, Gunnar Watson had 318 yards on 12-of-17 passing (70.6%) for the Trojans, with three touchdowns and no interceptions. DK Billingsley carried the ball nine times for 57 yards (6.3 yards per carry) with three touchdowns on the ground. Rajae’ Johnson-Sanders had four receptions for 134 yards (33.5 per catch) and two touchdowns against the Chanticleers. Frank Harris recorded 341 passing yards while going 32-for-37 with four touchdowns and no interceptions for the Roadrunners against the Mean Green. He added 16 carries for 49 yards and one touchdown. Kevorian Barnes carried the ball 28 times for 175 yards (6.3 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. In the passing game, he added one catch for seven yards. Zakhari Franklin registered 144 yards through the air aft er 10 catches (on 12 targets), with three touchdowns.

The Trojans (-1) are slight favorites in their matchup with the Roadrunners. The over/under is set at 54.5 points.
