The Demon Deacons head into the matchup after losing 34-31 to the Duke Blue Devils in their last outing on November 26. The Tigers are coming off of a victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks by the score of 29-27. In that matchup, Cody Schrader had an 18-carry, 87-yard game (4.8 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. He tacked on two receptions for -5 yards . Dominic Lovett caught six passes on 11 targets for 130 yards (21.7 yards per reception).
